The Process

Here is exactly what to expect.

We're mobile, so find us at a local park, festival, business near you.  Then, book a spot for yourself, maybe a friend.  You can also book all 8 spots in the sauna for a private session.  A good sauna experience is social, unwinding, sharing and swapping stories!

Arrival

Pull up.
We'll take it from there.

Upon arrival, a Soulful Sauna attendant will check you in, have you sign our waiver if you didn't do so online.

We'll have a changing tent on site so you can get ready in private before stepping into the sauna where the fire is already burning and the stones hot.

Be sure to bring two towels - one to sit on and the other for after.  We will have a cold plunge on site for that extra refresher.  Swimsuit is required and we don't allow  phones or alcohol in the sauna. The rest is up to you!

Don't have a towel? We have them available to rent on site.

Inside the sauna

The heat, the steam,
the rhythm of it.

The interior is cedar. The stove is wood-burning. The heat builds from the stones, heavy, radiant, and different in quality from anything electric.

Water can be added to the stones if others in the sauna agree.  We love to keep our sauna between 160 -180 degrees.

The steam that rises is what the Finns call löyly, the soul of the sauna. From there the rhythm is yours. Spend time inside, step out into the mountain air, cool down in the snow, the river, the lake.  If those aren't available, our cold plunge will be there.

Heat and cold go together, like yin and yang. Balancing them takes practice so the real benefit is just sitting in both, letting your mind, body, and soul reset.  It's not a tough man/woman competition, just a time to be still.  Let your body do the rest.

Sessions are attended throughout. Your attendant manages the fire, the temperature, and the steam. You just show up.

What Next?

Take advantage of our changing tent to get ready for whatever is next.  You will feel very relaxed.  Feel proud of the accomplishment, taking care of you.

If you have found us at festival, maybe a brewery or winery, stay awhile.  We love our partnerships and encourage you stay - take in the music, enjoy some conversation over a few drinks.

If enjoyed your experience, love to have your review.  If we have  another pop-up sauna scheduled, tell a friend and book some spotst for another session!!

Pearl Lake

Our desire in 2027 is to have the sauna at Pearl Lake a few weekends from May to Oct....

Pearl Lake is already worth the drive. Our sister company, Paddleboard Adventure Company has a kiosk right there renting boards and more.

Plus, we have a tiki bar at the kiosk, The Sneak Line, when you're ready for a cold bevy or two.

If you're camping at Pearl Lake, or down the road at Steamboat Lake -  board rentals, apres bar, and a sauna right on the shore of Pearl Lake make for an amazing experience.

Follow us closely to know when the sauna is at Pearl and plan to paddle, sauna, and then enjoy a happy hour!!!
